Jackie caught me!

In my last post, I showed some pictures of my MESSY living room...and I got caught. YES- I have started making baby stuff....way too early, but I guess that's how I roll. I have NO idea if I' having a girl or a boy, but I just had to start making something. The bottom picture is a blueish color that didn't translate well in the picture, but it's really pretty cheap yarn that is super soft. Can't beat it! And I know the flower is huge and out of control on that hat, but I love it. If I have a boy, I will have to find a very special baby girl to give this to. It's chenille yarn, so it's SUPER soft. :)

run on big runner

I have already started making baby blankets and hats...of course I have to make some for each gender since I'm only six weeks along, and I have no idea what kind of baby or how many babies are in there....I say that because I'm crossing my fingers for twins...call me crazy, but the idea of two babies with one delivery sounds like Heaven, plus I really want some twinsies, plus they run in my family and mom-in-law is a twin....so yeah....I'm hoping for that...

How was that for a run on sentence?!

Oh yeah, does anyone know how these people on Etsy that make baby hats with BIG OL' flowers on them get those flowers so big? I think they buy silk flowers at Hobby Lobby or wherever, deconstruct them, and then re-layer the petals to make them huge and pretty. What do you say?

I tried to think of a creative or funny way to say this, but today it's just not coming to me.

We're having a baby! We just found out today. It's way too soon to tell people, but I can't contain my excitement!

Not much time

I've been completely swamped catching up on homework. I'll show you just how faithful our new puppy is after less than two weeks. Every night while I work on school, this is what I see when I look down.

Sometimes if I have my feet together, she lays right on top of them, I assume to feel the warmth as she sleeps. So precious. As much as I can't wait for her to be potty trained and quit chewing, I'm going to miss her being this little and cuddly. She will eventually weigh 75-85 pounds!
