Manning is TWO months old as of 1-15-2010. We are so proud of our little man and thankful for him! We celebrated by eating at our FAVORITE cajun seafood restaurant last night- Boudreaux's. SO good. So, what is Manning up to these days? Well...
In one month his 0-3 month clothes went from being loose and long to snug. We are still wearing them, but I don't think they will last until 3 months!
He is still a super happy little fellow! Manning rarely cries. He grunts a lot. When he's hungry he normally just grunts at us until we get the bottle in his mouth. He does cry loudly when we take the bottle away to burp him, which happens frequently each feeding due to his reflux!
Manning has MASTERED smiling. He loves to smile at his mama and dada, which melts our hearts! Recently I spent a night away from Manning for work and when I got home I walked in the door and walked up to him and said "Hi Buddy!" and he just gave me the biggest gummy grin I've ever seen.
Manning is starting to nap shorter lengths of time and less frequently throughout the day. Thankfully, he is starting to sleep LONGER periods at night, and one night (the one I was out of town!) slept from 10 PM to 6 AM. I believe the re-introduction of swaddling has been a major contributing factor.
Manning is no longer on Zantac for his reflux. It was not doing the trick. He is now on Prilosec. It is working, but I think his dose might need to be adjusted again. With him growing so fast it's hard to keep up! We have our 2 month appointment in a few weeks, so I will ask about increasing his dosage then, if not before.
Manning is now eating a SIX OUNCE bottle every three to four hours. PIGGY!
The food must be working because Mr. Manning is now up to twelve pounds! This means he has almost doubled his birth weight in TWO months. Fantastic!!!
