Manning is now wearing 3-6 month or 6 month clothes. He especially has a hard time with footed sleepers because he has big feet. With Mommy having a size 11 and Daddy having a size 14, it was to be expected.
Manning is more and more alert for longer periods of time. Some days he only takes a few short naps lasting anywhere from twenty minutes to forty minutes. He is still sleeping through the night for anywhere between seven and nine hours.
Manning is starting to develop his hand eye coordination. He now reaches up and grabs the toys that hang from his car seat handle or from his bouncy chair. He got a toy Teddy Bear for Christmas that hangs on his bouncy chair and sings. He LOVES it and has even managed to pull it hard enough a few times to unstick the velcro and get it down.
Call me a liar, but Manning is walking with assistance. hahaha It's the craziest thing to type that. He has always had unusually stiff/strong legs. The other day Nathan was holding his torso and he would put one foot down, put the other down in front of it, etc. all the way across the floor. It is unbelievable to see a baby his size and age do that. I'll have to video it soon to prove I'm not crazy. Or maybe it's more common than I realize?
Manning wears a size 2 diaper. He still takes six ounce bottle about every three hours except through the night.
Everyone still comments on how happy of a baby Manning is and how easy he is to deal with. His babysitter loves him so much and said that he's the easiest baby ever.
Manning has started to cry really hard when he gets over-stimulated and is super tired and can't fall asleep. I think he is still learning how to shut off the outside world and fall asleep on his own. This might be because we swaddle him at night and sleep in silence.
Okay enough rambling. I just don't ever want to forget all of these little details!
Here are some pictures of our sweetie.
He is Mommy (and Daddy's) little treasure!
Look at that precious smile!
He is so cute!
Hey, who is that?!
