JANUARY
Manning started the year by discovering the bears hanging above his Pack & Play on January 1st.
He also enjoyed sleeping in his swing. This was a God-send once he was diagnosed with severe reflux.
We also discovered the joy of swaddling.
Manning tested out his fashion options. He loved this outfit.
January also marked the first month of Manning sleeping through the night. He started at 7 weeks and has been a great sleeper since then! I started a new job as an Account Executive and Nathan went back to his retail job full-time.
FEBRUARY
Manning got his first round of immunizations. I'll spare you the heartbreaking pictures of him crying.
Just hung out sometimes, looking cute.
Manning loved the newfound independence of sitting in his Bumbo seat once he could!
Manning was my 2nd Valentine.
In February we also watched the Super Bowl, but no one in the BeVelle household wants to recall that memory.
Manning continued to perfect the art of being adorable.
Nathan had to beat women off with a stick.
Manning started using his exersaucer and the angels sang.
Manning also began to add some chubs to his body, in case you didn't notice.
APRIL
Manning began eating some baby food around this time. Originally, he was not a fan.
Manning also learned to show his appreciation for being the only boy at a Bridal Shower for his Aunt Kourtnie
This began the first signs of Manning's silly smile that is still cracking us up.
Our first (and, though we didn't know it at the time, only) Easter as a family of 3
Manning continued the fashion exhibition on Easter with a golf hat. PRESHI.
Showing off his tongue became a favorite past time.
All that baby food began to pay off!
Manning let us know, he comes in peace.
MAY
Manning enjoyed going to eat at the Mexican restaurant where Nathan & I both worked at different times.
CUTIE.
Manning and I on my first Mother's day as a mama.
Manning was especially adorable on Mother's Day.
Manning also learned the art of flirting. Here is he's practicing making eyes at my BFF Steph.
Hanging out at Aunt Kourtnie's wedding and obviously he was teething the entire month of May.
With Auntie K on her wedding night!
Using those teeth he worked so hard to get to bite Nate right on the schnoz.
Eating is fun!
Baby's first mohawk
May was pretty exhausting.
SWEET boy.
JUNE
Manning somehow managed to get clean in June.
Enjoyed playing with Watson & Zoe, my mom's mini-schnauzers.
Sophie the Giraffe became everyone's best friend.
Swimming for the first time in Uncle Matt & Aunt Cindi's pool!
Mr. Chubs looked precious at another well-baby check up.
And then, at the end of June, the BeVelle household was SHOCKED to learn of another blessing coming our way...
We were all thrilled!!!
JULY
Manning being Captain Adorable on the HOT 4th of July
Nate had LASIK surgery
Manning became so active when playing that I had to set up a barricade, and all pictures started to be fuzzy.
Big boy in the pink bathtub!
Cutest napper ever.
Manning loves movies and the Colts, just like his dada!
First belly pic for baby #2- 13 weeks I think.
Manning decided he prefers to be naked, but he could express himself with his hairstyles.
Pulling up on the TV stand became Manning's new favorite and most dangerous game to play.
Eating cookies all by myself!
Still the cutest napper ever.
SEPTEMBER
17 Weeks Pregnant with #2
Eating is still fun!
Manning had 5ths Disease...NOT fun. See the rashy cheeks?
I thought he was blogging, but he was watching the Colts online.
Showing off his adorable attitude at Target
Helping Grandpa mow the lawn
We had just finished eating dinner one night and I looked over and Nate was sleeping sitting up...before 7 PM. Parenthood is exhausting.
OCTOBER
Manning officially started walking on October 1st at 10 1/2 months (I think?!?!)
We went to the pumpkin patch with our cousin Clara Mae
Manning started taking showers with Dada and LOVING it
Manning & cousin Gunnar
Dragon for his First Halloween
Dada was working so we decided to get a little Risky Business after church one Sunday.
All that Risky Business wore him out.
Manning had a virus for a few weeks and ended up being dehydrated. He had to be admitted to the hospital for about 48 hours. This was in Urgent Care. Poor baby took almost an hour to get that STUPID IV in.
Clearly out of order, this was us before the Pumpkin Patch.
Grams Lori gave M these Elmo PJs that he loves!
He knows he is cute.
Baby Belly 22ish weeks?!
NOVEMBER
Manning loving his Mickey Mouse PJs!
And he turned ONE!
We had the opportunity to hang out with our family in Chilli for about four days at Thanskgiving time. M loved all the attention and the new things to explore, like Nana's fridge farm!
Playing Peek-a-boo with his cup
The most important thing we did in November was go to Manning's one-year cardiologist check-up. Manning was cleared and we should NEVER have to go back again!
He celebrated at Abuelo's by eating guacamole by the spoonful!
And we got a stuffed Mickey to celebrate too. Manning loved him immediately!
Since Watson & Zoe can chew on Nana's furniture, why can't I?
Baby #2 belly. I don't know what week.
DECEMBER
We had a little photo shoot for our Christmas cards. A cookie was a great incentive to smile.
Christmas Morning 2010!
Our family Christmas 2010
Nathan in his 1st place Ugly Christmas Sweater.
Baby #2 Belly. BIG.
Manning Mouse
Cutie after a nap!
The first successful dining out experience we've had in months. Manning was well-behaved for almost an hour!
Fuzzy, but precious.
SO, that's our year. 2011 looks to be even more exciting as we add to our family and make major career and life changes. Thanks for following along!
