First is the Engineered Boot from American Eagle for $79.95
I really like that these look a lot like Frye boots that are out of my price range, but doesn't $70 seem awfully high for faux leather from Target?
The Manette from Merona at Target for $39.99
Right now these are showing sold out on Target's site, but it looks like they were last available in 2011 so maybe they'll repost them soon? Hopefully?
Now that you know the look I'm going for, have you seen any great, affordable riding boots around? Do you think the tall boots over leggings/jeans trend is going to last long enough for me to invest in a pricier pair of boots? Because, really, I'd give my left arm* for these beauties---
The Amelia Logo from Frye for $348

I've bought a couple of pairs of shoes from American Eagle and they've been poor quality. It's a shame because they have very cute shoes! Just thought you might want to know before you purchase! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteDon't waste money on cheap boots. I have the Frye boots and they are well worth it.
ReplyDeleteI own 3 pairs of the Amelia Logo as I wear them a lot when I am in Maine.
They look smart and you can wear them with skirts during the fall.
$350 is not a lot for something that will last you a couple of years.
Have fun boot shopping!!.
Maisie.
