Every October the nester hosts a link-up for 31 days. Bloggers choose from any topic under the sun and blog about it for 31 consecutive days.
Lately, I have found myself not blogging nearly as much for a few reasons, but mainly because I've become super self-conscious about people finding my blog or about in real life friends judging me for what I write about. In the last few days I've just finally decided, I don't care any more. Okay, I still care a little, but I'm working on not caring. ;)
When I started blogging (at a different blog address) I blogged about everyday life almost every single day, and one of my biggest regrets in life is deleting that blog. Yes, it would be super embarrassing to read some posts I wrote when I lacked a filter, but I really want to get back to the reason I started blogging- for myself and for my family to have as a keepsake someday.
So, starting today, I'll be blogging 31 days of real life. I'm just going to blog about our life. Whatever I feel like documenting that day, and I will NOT be letting myself be apprehensive because of the fear of being judged. Also, more and more lately I've seen bloggers being bashed for not being "real" enough and I never want to give the impression that my life is perfect, but I'm also very thankful for my imperfect life, so I'm going to focus on being real and on being thankful for the imperfections in life.
