I'm continuing in the 31 Days Series with The Nester. For more information about my topic, click here.
Today has been full of ups and downs. Nathan was off today for Columbus Day (yay!) but I've officially caught whatever sickness the boys had ALL last week (boo!).
I did want to share a few things with y'all so here goes:
My heart is still so heavy for the family of Matt Turner, and especially his wife Julee. I'm excited to participate in a silent auction next week to benefit Preslee's college fund. I'll be posting some thirty-one items for sale so don't miss out!
After 3 years of having hardwood floors in the living room, I FINALLY ordered an area rug tonight. I know that's an insane amount of time to shop for a rug, but rugs are so expensive and knowing that we haven't planned on staying in this house much longer since before Manning was born (OVER 3 YEARS AGO) I didn't want to commit to something. Well, Meredith shared with me a great sale on rugs and I was able to order a huge seven foot by ten foot rug for our living room. I went with a trendy chevron look because it was the best deal, but they have lots of great rugs to choose from. If you're interested it came from rugsusa.com clearance section. The rug was already marked down and there was a 60% off code available as well.
Lastly, DaySpring is having a super huge sale on their ever grateful memo board. It's normally $34.99, but through October 15 with the code "WATFmemo" you can get it for just $5! I snatched up 10 to give as gifts because when you spend $50 DaySpring ships for free. I know some special people in my life will love receiving these beautiful memo boards as gifts.
