For several weeks when I asked Manning what he wanted to be for Halloween he said that he wanted to be a cow and Deacon should be a chicken. I thought that was the plan, and I picked up the costumes as soon as Target put them out in September. Then just a few weeks ago Manning decided that superheroes are the coolest thing ever. Batman, Spiderman, Superman...he loves them all. EVERYTHING about superheroes. So, back to target the costumes went. I ordered these adorable capes on etsy from ApplesauceLLC and I couldn't be happier with the capes. I think the boys will love having these to wear during playtime for a long time.
This little dude was so excited to be "Super Manning" that I could hardly get him to stop for pictures.
"Cheese!" Of all days, Deacon decided to protest his nap yesterday so you can see he's already tired.
When anyone asked Manning what he was he would say "Superhero!" and put his arm up like that. I love that you can see Deacon in the background imitating Manning. He loves his big brother and wants to be just like him.
Let's go Trick or Treat!
We had the BEST time last night. We went to some family members' homes and then hit up the Trunk or Treat at Gigi's church. We love the Trunk or Treat. It's a safe way for the kids to "Trick or Treat" and we get to see tons of other adorable kiddos. I love that Halloween can be a fun night for our kids and we can avoid the scary and evil side of things. I can't wait for many more fun Halloweens in the future!
