busy bees
Hi! Sorry for my unexplained absence. We have been busy bees! Here are a few things that are going on with our family:
Nathan's official release from the Army is coming within the next few weeks! We are hopeful he will be home before his friend Nathan's wedding which he will be a groomsman in. The boys and I are more than ready to have him home FOREVER!
Nathan and I are both job hunting. I've been hunting pretty much nation-wide in areas we'd like to live, and so far nothing. If you know of any great opportunities, please let me know! Otherwise, we appreciate your prayers for employment.
Our house is still on the market, and we haven't had a showing for months. I really have a peace about it and I trust that God will place us with the right buyer at the right time.
Deacon is a full-fledged walker now. For several months he's been able to walk, but preferred to crawl because it was so much faster, but now he's walking more than crawling. How did my baby grow so fast?!
Manning is a full-fledged talker. ;) He can say or sing anything and everything and learns new things every single day. I feel like his brain is a sponge right now. I can sing a song one time and he's singing it right along with me the next time. He repeats everything he hears (good and bad!) and has such the little personality. I'm loving the glimpses of who he is going to be. He is a very compassionate child already, which warms my heart. That's the one character trait I pray both of my boys have in abundance.
The weather in our area has been gorgeous, and the boys are loving the chance to be a little more on the go. We've been going on walks, playing at the park, playing outside and just go go going every chance we have. As the boys become a little older the tasks that used to be much more stressful are becoming second nature.
After nearly seven years of living here, I finally feel at "home" in a church. It is such a happy feeling. Manning's favorite thing to do is "Go to church! Eat a snack and play with friends!" :) I haven't made a whole lot of friends because it is just a really big church that doesn't have traditional Sunday School classes, but I know in time I will meet more people. Making friends as an adult is hard. Have I written about this before?
Thirty-One is still the biggest surprise blessing in my life right now. Every month I'm able to provide more income for our family than the month before, and I really, truly love what I'm doing. Actually, speaking of thirty-one, if any of you have ever thought about joining, the company is doing a really great promotion where you can actually join for free from April 16th-May 31st. I tell people that it was the smartest $99 I've ever invested, but if you can start for free, that's even better! Contact me at kodibevelle@gmail.com with any questions you have!
We're looking forward to a fun-filled Easter weekend celebrating the resurrection of our Savior! I hope your family is blessed this weekend, and remember it's not about the bunny. Happy Friday!
